PaisaTrack is a personal income and expense tracker for Android, published at paaipaai.in. This page explains what the app stores and why.
What you enter
The transactions you add (amount, description, category, date, wallet and notes), your monthly budget, currency and display name are stored on your phone. The app does not read your SMS, contacts, photos or location.
Login and cloud backup
Logging in is optional. If you log in with Google or with an email and password, the app uses Google Firebase Authentication to identify you and keeps a backup copy of your entries in Google Cloud Firestore, linked to your account. The backup lets you restore your entries on a new phone and combine entries from two phones.
- Firebase receives your email address, your name (if you give one) and, for Google login, your Google account ID.
- Security rules allow only your logged-in account to read or change your backup.
- Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. The app shows no ads.
- We do not use your entries for any purpose other than showing them to you and backing them up.
Deleting your data
In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account. This deletes your login and your cloud backup. Entries on the phone are removed when you uninstall the app or use Settings → Delete all entries.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
